Principal's Message

Greetings BCMS A&T Families,

I would like to welcome you to Brownsville Collaborative Middle School of Agriculture and Technology (BCMS A&T). I have been the proud Principal of BCMS A&T since 2017, and our goal from the onset is very simple: we want to create a dynamic learning environment where our scholars can learn and grow. To provide our scholars with the Competitive Edge they deserve.

At BCMS A&T, we show scholars how much we care for them through our expectations of them. We expect our scholars to take rigorous courses. Our scholars take the Regents exam in Algebra I, US History, Living Environment, English Language Arts, and Spanish. That means they will enter high school with five of the required eight Regents exams in order to graduate.

We expect them to respect one another. We expect parents to be equal partners in their children’s learning. We expect our scholars to do their absolute best!

It is my goal to give families the personal attention they deserve. Our doors are always open for you to come in and visit your child. It is very important for you to know what your child is learning. It is my hope that you will frequently visit the Brownsville Collaborative Middle School  APP to keep abreast of your child’s classroom assignments.

We will continue to gather feedback throughout the school year. Our goal is to clearly articulate our school’s belief system through our school Vision. I want you and every staff member to be proud of the great things that are happening here at BCMS A&T.

If you have any questions in the interim, please give us a call at our main office at 718-495-1202 or stop by the school anytime before 3 PM. Once again, I am humbled by the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,
Gregory Jackson Jr.
